Ibiza surprises once again — this time with a colorful metamorphosis in the heart of Sant Antoni's notorious West End. Where late-night partygoers roam the streets, art has taken over.
With his new installation "Endless Rainbow Walk" Spanish street art superstar Okuda San Miguel has transformed the Carrer de Santa Agnès into a psychedelic dream street. Colorful geometric shapes adorn the floor, and vibrant fabric panels hang above like floating paintings — a feast for the senses and a great photo (hot) spot.
This project transforms the West End, considered a no-go area by many, into a surprising rediscovery. A trip to Sant Antoni is now more worthwhile than ever—especially in daylight!
My tip: Let yourself be carried away by Okuda's street art and then head towards the coast for sunset. Whether at Space Eat & Dance, the legendary Café del Mar, or Café Mambo: gazing at the setting sun is a ritual that never gets boring.
And because Sant Antoni has long been a(n underrated) culinary delight, not just visually, a dinner at one of the city's brilliant restaurants is a must: for example, at what I consider the island's most exciting restaurant, Es Ventall, or traditional Catalan fare at Es Rebost de Can Prats. Buen provecho!
